Must Lose Weight, Please Help!?

Ok, so here we go: I'm sixteen years old, 5'4 and weigh just over one hundred and twenty pounds. I used to be real thin, not nasty thin, but nice thin. Then my medications were switched to better ones and I gained over twenty pounds. Here are some pictures of my current 'condition', please no one tell me I look fine, I know I look like I'm pregnant, but trust me, I've never done anything that could possibly get me pregnant. Lately though, I have been lactating, don't know if it's stress or a false pregnancy, don't know how that would happen though. http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj179/Evil-Angel_Broken-Wings/Quest/IM000484.jpg And as for the medications I take Risperadol [spl?] Temazapan [spl?] Depakote [spl?] and Setraline. Plus Biotin and Silenium as well as a multivitamin that I don't know the name of. Please help. I've tried doing sit ups lately, and I was wondering if that would show any results, I did like 120 yesterday, would that help at all? I plan to do more today.

  1. f you want to lose weight fast and keep it off, how you eat is just as important as what you eat.

    First things first. Keep in mind that no diet is successful without implementing the basic core principles of a healthy lifestyle. You must include them all. I'm stressing this because there are so many fad diets out here nowadays that avoid some of these basic principles, and for that, you should AVOID FAD DIETS! The basic principles are COMPLETE proper nutrition (complex carbs, fiber, protein, health fats, and foods rich in vitamins and minerals), get plenty of sleep every night (7-8 hours), drink plenty of water daily (1/2-1 gallon), cardio exercise AND weight training exercise.

    As far is eating is concerned, as I said earlier, how you eat is just as important as what you eat. This is because if you focus on eating properly through out the day, you will boost your metabolism. If you boost your metabolism you will lose weight fast, but even more importantly, keep it off!

    How should I eat?

    Eat frequently through out the day. Start with breakfast (never skip breakfast), and eat a small healthy meal every 2-3 hours after that. This will keep your fat burning furnace (your metabolism) running on all cylinders and thus naturally burn off fat faster.

    When you eat frequently through out the day, your body will burn off more calories and you will lose weight fast and keep it off. However, when you do the opposite and not eat regular meals or you skip meals, this will slow down your metabolism. A slow metabolism will trigger your body to go into protection mode because it is sensing starvation. To avoid this from happening, never skip breakfast, and eat 6 small healthy meals through out the day.

    In conjunction with proper nutrition, you're also going to need a proper fat burning plan customized to help you lose weight fast and keep it off.

  3. I do the 'Fat Smash' diet which is a book from The 'Celebrity Fit Club', off of t.v.

    I picked the book up at my local library, I love that it is very simple and basically has healthy eating guidelines and exercise. Personally I love it and the first "Phase" is only 9 days... so if you would like to try it at least give Phase1 a chance!

    PHASE 1:

    PER DAY YOU CAN HAVE:

    2cups brown rice

    Yogurt (2  -6 oz)

    1 cup Oats

    Fruit

    Vegetables except avocado and only 2 pickles per day

    No potatoes except sweet potatoes

    3 egg whites and 1 whole egg

    also you can have 3 cups air popped popcorn no butter

    Basically you can eat all the veggies and fruit you want, this is for the first 9 days... I lost 10lbs in 9 days! Seriously I've tried a lot of diets, it's great! You can't look at the scale until day 9, very important. In the first month I lost 21 lbs of doing the Fat Smash diet and wasn't even starving at all! Plus make sure you get lots of water. It made me feel GREAT and I did see a difference. So like I was saying you can eat all you want of the "allowed" items but he does say don't over eat. When you feel full quit eating.

    Here was my first 4 day menu on Phase 1 =)

    Day1:

    BF:Oatmeal (I did use instant w/water added)

    S:2 Tangerines & 1 Pickle

    L:Split Pea Soup

    D:Boca Burger w/ketchup & mustard (no bread)

    Broccolli w/lemon pepper (steamed)

    Day 2:

    BF: Oatmeal w/blueberries

    S: 2 Tangerines & Banana

    L: Sweet Potato Fries (cut fry style and baked)

    D: Can of Corn & carrots

    S: Grapes

    Day 3:

    BF: 4 Egg Whites w/salsa, bell pepper & onion (omelet)

    S: Frozen Grapes

    L: 1/2 can Split Pea Soup, 1 Apple

    S: Apple

    D: other 1/2 can Split Pea Soup & Carrots

    S: Banana

    Day 4:

    BF: Apple Bake (sliced apple, splenda, cinnamon, 0cal butter spray & oats on top-- baked)

    S: Grapes

    L: Boca Burger Patti & Sweet Potato Fries (1/2 sweet potato)

    S: Carrots & 1 Tangerine

    D: BOca Burger Patti, grilled Onions & Tbsp Steak sauce
