Must See Places?

Question

Ok so I'm going to plan a trip to Ireland. I know there are a ton of places to visit there. I'm only going for a week and I want to fit in as much as possible because I will probably never get back there. Are there any places that you would recommend visiting and are there any places that really don't need to be seen. You know how some attractions you think that you could spend the whole day there, but once you're there you're like "ok thats nice lets keep looking around" I just dont want to waste time/money.

Well it all depends what part your going to , as in north south east or west, if your going to the east you must see Dublin city , about 20 miles away is co wicklow which is known as the garden of Ireland, so beautiful, not to be missed,loads to see there, glendalough, powerscourt, and gorgeous beaches. in the west theres co Clare,also not to be missed,cliffs of moher, the burren , lahinch, and loads more,,after that its up to you ,but if its only for a week, these are the places to see, really you would need a month to enjoy Ireland., and see everything. If you are near Dublin you must go to Newgrange. Its a megolithic burial site which predates the pyramids in Egypt. It definitely has the wow factor. 5000 years old. Its where the ancient Irish buried their dead in passage graves. There should be all the info on the Duchas.ie website.
