Must do pension?

I am new in the UK and planning to be here only 2-3 years, do I still have to pay pension or I can skip it?

If you are working here contributions to your pension are taken via your National Insurance contributions. this contributes to the UK state retirement pension but may also entitle you to other welfare benefits should you need them during the course of your stay.  Everyone working in the UK is allocated a national Insurance number and deductions made from their pay. You have to pay this.

    An occupational pension will be up to you and the terms of your contract
