  1. The speakers have nothing to do with the woofers :p

You can keep the stock speakers there if you'd like.

But, the woofers will probably drown out the speakers anyway, so I'd recommend getting new speakers/components and powering them with an amp also.

  2. alot depends on what kind of deck you have as some decks have built in amplifiers to power factory door speakers. if you have tons of bass but want full range sound, i would either a) run a dedicated amp for your aftermarket door speakers, which wouldnt be much as most component speaker systems (not including subs mind you) only push 150 to 300 watts max. or b)upgrade your deck as my panasonic deck has a built in amp for 200 watts peak power which powers my factory door speakers incredibly, i am talking a huge difference in my mids and highs as my subs used to outweigh my full range.  BUT there is another option which is what i took, and saved tons of money.  bass blockers!!! u hook these puppies inline to your door speakers and it cuts off bass to them entirely, meaning you can turn the treble up for more highs, and turn the bass up and it will just go to your subs, not door speakers, so that when u crank the system, ur not getting as much if any distortion from your speakers as bass to the door speakers is 99% of factory speaker distortion/blown door speakers.  getting the most highs outta my factory door speakers and cranking my subs up without blowing highs, best part i got 4 bass blockers, 2 for my front left and right speakers, and 2 for my rear left and right speakers for less than 30 bucks.  hope this helps

  3. your factory speakers have nothing to do with your subs and/or the amp that is powering you subs
