Must keep in your car?

What are some things that you always have to have in your car? Such as money, cd's, stuff like that? Make a list of things that you always have to have with you in your car.

You should think first about safety items...

Spare tire, in good condition. The car jack.

A punch to punch out the window if your car goes into the water. It should be on a lanyard so that you can easily find it after the car goes into the drink. Mine is in the door pocket.

Similarly, a knife to cut the seat belt in case it gets damaged by the crash.

Water, in case you're stuck somewhere.

Flares.

A triangular reflector to put behind the car at night.

Flashlight.

-In the truck, also keep something you can break the window with or something if you your car is stolen and you are put in the trunk.

-Something to break the windows if your car goes off a pier in the front

my ipod, my roadtrip for my ipod, my pink garmin, an umbrella, license, proof of insurance, registration, air fresheners, an emergency road kit (you should keep one in your trunk!!), a spare tire, hand sanitizer, a pen, spare change in case I need to go through a toll booth or have to pay for parking at a meter, phone charger. I think thats it... oh yeah, and sunglasses if it is really bright out. the guy above me has really good items listed, safety is the most important!
