We are planning a trip to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica (have traveled pacific coast on a different trip years ago) and need advice of must sees and dos. Planning on 3 days spent visiting tortuguero but other than that planning on floating coast. Heard Cahuita and Puerto Jimenez are nice, any other great places to visit? Any advice or traveling stories would be appreciated...thanks!!!!! :)

  1. I, just came back from that area and think that you should definitely take a look into Cahuita and the national park, Puerto Viejo (great little laid back town with some good eats and beautiful beaches), Punta Uva and Manzanillo. I loved Puerto Viejo and the area so much I plan to move there within the next year.

    Good luck with your plans.

  2. Costa Rica just got better, Please don't forget to load your camera and take a lot of Video so you can share with the world.

Congratulations this is going to be amazing for you and for all Costa Rica to have you visiting us!. I you see my profile , you can check my website.

  3. Explore the forests and swamps of Tortuguero National Park and to see any of four species of turtles that nest on the beach. It is a very nice place.

Puerto Viejo is a very peaceful and eco-friendly place to visit.

  4. Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge near Puerto Viejo is great..

There is an amazing jungle hotel
