Going on a 2 week roadtrip from Spain to the Avignon festival in July. Also planning to visit Chateunuef-du-pape for the obvious wine tasting tour (hic!), and gonna do a 2 day kayak trip through the Ardeche.

Does anyone know of any other places or festivals worth a visit?

Thanx :)

It wil be on your way from Spain to Avignon : the quickest is Spain -> Ardèche- > Camargue -> Luberon (Apt, Gordes, etc...) -> Avignon -> England

    Have fun

  3. On your way from Spain to Avignon you must also see Carcassonne and the Pont du Gard (outside Nimes).
