Must to bring items when moving from India to USA?

I am looking for a list of items which should be brought by a family when relocating from India to USA. The list could include the day to day items that are not easily available in USA, or are comparetivly very expensive.

If you are a south indian , carry a grinder

of export quality which will work in america.

Sumeet mixie with attachments, spare parts,

pressure cooker with extra gasket, safety valve,

warm clothing ( for east coast only) sambar powder, rasam powder, other pickles, belan,

interesting books by indian authors, other

natural products like soaps, sandal powder,

toothpaste, etc, indian art pieces like small

idols, Gods's pix, puja items, sloka books

bed sheets, even carpets which can be folded

and kept in the suitcases . U choose the

items which are most important to you.
