Such is life, we are all judged by how we either dodge the slings and arrows or endure the pain most of us suffer.

Life can give you some hard knocks but it is up to you, your choice, as to how you will accept them. You have the free choice to not allow misfortunes to affect your life. For example, your house burns down. You can succumb to the great loss it represents to you, or you can tell yourself that at least your loved ones are safe and you can always rebuild again.

That's what philosophy is all about. ;- )
