Or can we just walk-in? Also, would they allow 2 people to share one summerlicious course?

  1. Mergers - If you can't just answer the question then don't answer at all. I'm sure the person asking the question isn't dumb like how you make them out to be in your answer.

I would suggest you make a reservations anyways. Call the restaurant ahead like you would normally do when you're making a reservation, but this time ask them about any Summerlicious policies concerning reservations that you need to know about. I usually reserve my table and it's fine. They never ask questions and I never have any trouble. Still though, ask them about it first.

Regarding the shared meal, I don't believe you're able to do that. Restaurants on all occassions (if not, most) expect each person to place a seperate order. Again, ask your waitor. It all depends on the restaurant you go to. But from my experience, I've always had a restaurant that said no when I wanted to share a course.

    Take Care

  2. Leave M & S alone. You broads have obviously never worked in a restaurant.

Poster, please make a reservation & guarantee yourself a table. Plus, stop being cheap and sharing food. That is soooo classless! If you're broke, eat at home. If you're not that hungry, eat at a tapas restaurant.

  3. Holy c**p Mergers, he's just asking a question.  I'm sure he didn't need you jumping down his throat.

I would recommend making a reservation, also they are probably  not going to be happy with you sharing a course.  To be honest I would stay clear of the summerlicious event the restaurants treat you like second class and sit you way away from the top crust like your some kind of peasant.

  4. I hate how people have this mentality to NOT book reservations. Then you want to get upset at the restaurant when you can't get a table. Reservations guarantee that you get a table. Why do you want take a chance on getting one? Whether or not it's busy, go and guarantee yourself a table. There are some places like OpenTable(dot)com that reward you for making reservations. It's free, take advantage of it.

Just remember to call the restaurant if you have any changes to your reservation (increase or decrease the amount in your party, changes to the time, etc.)or need to cancel. No shows are the bain of our existance. If you don't want your table, someone else will. Give them ample amount of time to get it replaced if you can't mae it.

Please refrain from being frugal and sharing a prix fixe menu. That's is quite insulting and rather unseemly also. They more than likely will not allow sharing or will charge a wicked plate sharing charge.
