Mustang Bullitt GT Should I buy this car and how much is it really worth?

Ok so I found a Mustang Bullitt GT with 61,000 miles and they are asking 6700 for it. All I can tell that it needs is a paint job due to some scratches. The only negative is the title is rebuilt due to a hit on the front, drivers side but everything has been fixed. The only things that are not stock are the hid's, flowmaster catback, bbk x-pipe, and the deep dish bullit style wheels. So is this a good deal or am I getting played?

  1. You should check its value on Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds. Don't even worry about the value of the add-ons since they are cheap extras. See if you're getting a good deal and if not you should talk them down.

  2. Try out Driverside. It's still in beta but for each model it has cost of ownership, quality ratings, lists of similar cars, technical specs and links to other sites that will help you out with more data.  Also the pricing data by mileage will help you see how good the deal is.

  3. check kelly blue book to see how much its worth

  4. I would say that it sounds like a good deal. A salvage title usually decreases the value of a car considerably. But if you plan on having it for awhile then i wouldnt worry about it.  would just make sure there is no major frame damage. Usually the tire wear indicates such a problem.
