Mustang Bullitt GT Should I buy this car?

Ok so I found a Mustang Bullitt GT with 61,000 miles and they are asking 6700 for it. All I can tell that it needs is a paint job due to some scratches. The only negative is the title is rebuilt due to a hit on the front, drivers side but everything has been fixed. The only things that are not stock are the hid's, flowmaster catback, bbk x-pipe, and the deep dish bullit style wheels. So is this a good deal or am I getting played?

  1. Depends if this car was raced or not. Could be a beater in disguise.

As far as the body damage goes, look to see if he used Ford body panels or after market which are cheesy and do affect resale value.

The exhaust mods are of no consequence, actually an improvement .

61,000 mi is low for a car almost 8 model years old. All in all not a bad deal since Bullits were made in limited numbers. Try dealing a little. Get the price to 6k and go for it !

  2. A great car, buy it..

  3. YES!!! BUY IT!!! Me and my older sister have been wanting a mustang for a while now...so don't miss out!! BUY IT!!

  4. its a "salvage" titled car which means its worth nothing as far as collectors go. you can never sell that car for much and he's asking a bit much for a salvage car. plus you never know what problems will develop from it!!

i would say no, dont go for it. even though the price is low, its a salvage car. blue book and NADA car guides list their worth as "nothing"

    be careful!!!

the frame was probably bent and thats why they "salvaged" it. it could have alignment problems, wear out tires quicker than normal or have a "walk" at high speeds that you wont know about till you buy it. i say stay away!!

  5. Yes buy it.   buy that over the new ones.  and for 6700, that's a steal

  6. Year? and get a mechanic to look at it

  7. That's a decent deal. Usually that would be a $10k+ car but seeing as it was in an accident they drop in value alot.

Just know that the Bullitts are the same as a GT performance-wise other than a different intake which gives like 10 horsepower. No difference really. But seeing as they only want $6,700 for it, I'd say go for it.

  8. yes
