Mustang Convertible top in the Winter or Hard top?

Question

I would like to have a mustang as my high school car, but I live in Southern Minnesita and get up to 7 Inches of snow and I cant garage it. Are the tops durable enough to last through winters, or should I start looking for a hard top convertible.

What hard top convertibles are out there that are cool reliable cars.

that top is pretty sturdy you should not have a issue(after 1993)

hard top convertables are rather expensive and were reserved for high end (50k+ and up) convertibles

the pontiac solstice and saturn whatever are the lowest cost hard top convertibles out now at around 35k(23 to 35)
