I have '93 pontiac Grand am that I'm having painted at macco. I've found a blue that looks to be exlusively for mustangs; it's called sonic blue. Is there anyway that I can get that color for my car? Will macco have it in stock for repairs on mustangs? Can anyone think of a better blue than sonic blue? Thank you.

  1. They'll paint anything any color you want. If you're doing a color change make sure to get the door jams, under the hood and trunk and any other place where original color might show. If you're up to it you might even want to remove the bumpers,( if they're chrome) emblems and all other trim so you get a better job .

  2. They will do any color you want, also your car will run faster with Ford paint on it.

  3. If you like the color,  go for it. Maaco is a big body and paint shop.  They can mix any color for any car makes and models.  After you have your car painted, make sure you ask for the color code just in case you need some stone chips touch up later on.  I always ask for leftover paint for a touch-up paint(save few bucks).  Sonic blue is cool.  another  blue that I like is octane blue from Mitsubishi.

  4. Yes they can mix it for you, and they can paint your car any color you want...
