  1. $4,000 1998 Mustang V6

    $6,000 99 to 2001 Mustang V6

    $8,000 V8 1999 to 2000

    $10,000 V6 2003 or a V8 2001

  2. 99-04 are the same body style

05+ are new style, wont find one for your price (i never looked but makes sense)

you can buy a gt with that price, dont buy a 6 banger because it is a pos.  If you want a 6 cause your worried about gas and insurance get something else.  Also dnt buy an automatic everyone regrets it.

BY the way if you live where it snows make sure u can miss work or school every day it snows because you wont make it out of your driveway.

  3. I just sold a Mustang.  I know they are beautiful cars, but the maintenance is unreal!  I also learned from a good friend at the Ford maintenance shop that they are the cheapest made cars out there right now and the upkeep is jacked way up.  Ford is making a fortune off of these cars.  I had mine (bought brand new) for 3 years and the motor mounts busted, the struts went out, the wheel bearings went out.  If you try to buy tires for them everyone will try to sell you low profiles, so if you do get one, beware.  It comes custom with LP's but you can get any kind of tire you want on them as long as the perameters match.  Mine was a convertible and the top stopped going down after 2 1/2 years.  You may be thinking I must have driven it too hard, but I drove that care like it was the only thing that meant anything to me, and it turned its back on me.  If you do really want a Mustang and nothing can change your mind (as the chrysler Seebring is a great car)  then you can usually check the newspaper and people are always trying to sell these cars.  Also check out the dealerships, although they will have the prices jacked up again.  Good Luck!!
