Mutafaakir tipped to win Betfair Supporting Grassroots Racing Maiden Stakes (Div I)
Mutafaakir has been rated as favourite for the Betfair Supporting Grassroots Racing Maiden Stakes (Div I) at Kempton in England on Monday, April 30, 2012. The winner of the class-5 event will be given a cash prize of £2,264.
The going will be standard in the 1 mile race, which is scheduled to start at 14:45 GMT. A total of 14 runners have been attracted towards the event and their names are as follows: Mutafaakir, Carthaginian, Sabre Tooth, Raheeba, Hurricane In Dubai, Cactus
Valley, Daliance, District Attorney, Mokbil, Kaiser Wilhelm, Albonny, Rulbin Realta, Tin Pan Alley and Tai Amour.
Looking at the overall statistics of all runners, the bookies have awarded Mutafaakir with the best odds. He is a very good performer and might encourage the punters to place the maximum number of bets in his favour.
The three-year-old colt has participated in a couple of events until now, but has not managed to win any of them. He has done well in both of his outings and is expected to bring up his maiden victory at Kempton today.
The John Gosden’s trainee made his debut in the sport this year and was impressive in his first ever outing. He challenged his rivals in the race and finished third overall, which is his best result till date.
However, Mutafaakir lost some momentum in his most recent race, as he finished fourth in it. He was up against some quality runners, thus the result was still not a bad one for him. He will need an absolute clear run in order to end up on top of the table
today.
Today’s favourite runner will be partnered by veteran jockey, Paul Hanagan, who has been in impressive form over the past few months. He has won plenty of events at this level at a decent strike rate, thus will attract a lot of bets in his favour.
On the other hand, Hurricane In Dubai might also manage to pull some attraction towards himself, as he is a quality runner. He has taken part in just one race and finished runner up in it.
Carthaginian, Sabre Tooth and Raheeba will be the other ones to watch out for in the race at Kempton.
