Mutal friend between myself and boyfriend. A girl he went to school with. ?

She and I are know becoming friends.

And he has always told me she got on his nerves. Now I see why. She is rude and obnoxious, she says smart mouth things, and always asks everybody to do stuff for her.

I am trying to be nice to her, as shes dating my guys friend. They all went to school together.

I am afraid I am going to have to call her out for saying the wrong thing to my boyfriend one day.

She says things like "god you are stupid" or mean things.

I think they are used to as he gives it back to her and I used to get mad at him for being mean to her, but now I see why.

Should I interfere with it next time, say something to her, laugh, leave it alone?

I'm never quick enough to come back with something and I am very NON confrontational. I don't have a problem with pulling her to the side and saying something, but she may just came back and say well your bf started it.

Should I just let him handle it since it is his group of friends? Or what?

Him and I have dated a long time, and I don't really like the idea of her disrespecting my bf.

U can talk to her normally, and just ignore her insults and ask your bf to do the same.

I think you should tell her because its very disrespectful of her to hurt your feelings. She might even think its okay because she's joking but theresz a fine line between playful jokes and hurtful ones [ I should know because I cross that line a couple of times before ;-) ] so just tell her but if you don't feel comfortable saying it then tell your boyfriend how you feel and ask him totalk to her.
