The legendary off-spinner, Muttiah Muralitharan, is optimistic about selection by some other franchise after his current Indian Premier League (IPL) outfit, Kochi Tuskers http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 (BCCI).
Due to severe violation of contractual terms, cricket’s governing body in the country terminated KTK’s contract, stirring up the row with the franchise.
The KTK officials, on the other hand, are determined not to bend their knees, as they threatened legal action against BCCI.

Muralitharan represented Kerala side in the fourth season of the IPL after serving Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the first three editions of the lucrative league.
While a hot debate about KTK’s future has been stirred up in Indian cricket circles, the Lankan off-spinner is not upset about his IPL future, as he hopes to be picked up by some other team for the next tournament.
“I am hopeful that if they (Kochi) are not playing, some other franchise will take me as I am fit and playing this format continuously. I want to play two more years in IPL. If the BCCI has decided something, then we can`t do anything. BCCI has taken this
decision but I hope that they will arrange something for the 20 contracted players of the franchise,” said Muralitharan, who played his last International Twenty20 at Perth against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 last year.
The Lankan legend is the highest wicket-taker in Test cricket with 800 scalps in 133 matches. Furthermore, he has 534 dismissals to his credit in the 50-over version of the game.
Playing in only five matches during the last edition of the IPL, the great off-spinner could only grab a couple of wickets. Talking about an unimpressive show in IPL-4, the spin master shared that he will be able to come up with a decent performance, if
given proper chances in the next competitions.
The 39-year-old off-spinner added, "My experience with Chennai Super Kings was far better. Kochi team did not play me much."
