Does anyone know of any mutual funds that have increased their subprime exposure lately? I believe that there are credit opportunities out there with funds that have bought some of these bad mortgages for a dirt cheap price. Does anyone know of any funds in particular?

  2. You should still go with the ultrashort realestate

  3. I don't know of any that have even wanted to touch the stuff.  The markets for subprime paper have effectively evaporated.  Hence why they are selling at such a huge discount.  Nobody wants them.  From what I hear, people who are looking to offload it are usually placing it with private individuals or firms, as opposed to the well-traveled public funds such as mutual funds.
