My, er, SECOND first impression?

Ha ha, hello :P

I'm going into the 8th grade, and I don't like to admit it, but I still have a crush.

I got comments from people telling me he liked me, and we we're friends then. He sure acted like it, but I chose not to believe it. Now he has his first girlfriend (I'm not sure if they are still together) and I deeply regret not saying anything.

Ah well, I would still REALLY like to be friends with him. How do I leave a good impression, what should I be trying to convey with my hands, face, etc. Sorry if I sound like another hormone-driven middle school student to you guys, but I need advice.

We were friends last year, had the exact same schedule. This year could be the opposite though, I don't want to lose a friendship! Please and thanks for any help.

All you gotta do is keep in touch!

I became best friends with this guy that I liked by passing notes in between class periods. We still talk and hang out to this day. Although we're only friends.
