My 1 1/2 yr old seems to show repetitve behavior that results in injurys, nothing serious, is this normal?

My 17 month old daughter has bruises up and down her legs, she falls alot, I walk out of the room, she climbs on the couch or table, something always, falls off, cries for a couple seconds, and 2 minutes later does it again. I have a 4 year old that of course did little things like this, like normal babies do, but never like this. Is this normal?

My son looks like we are tying him up or beating him or something.  He is 19 months old and he is fearless.  It's almost like things don't hurt him, although I know they do when he's really hurt he cries hard.

I'm sure it's normal, she's just more adventurous then her brother.
