My 1 year old freaks out in the tub?

My son loved the bath until about a month ago. Now he screams as if in pain and soon as you put him in the tub. He stands up and clings to me. We have tried toys, warmer water,colder water, his sister, me everything. He just will not calm down. Any suggestions on how to make this better?

If he still refuses dome websites like One Step Ahead sell  these mini shower heads with like elephants and animals that spray!

try some bubbles. I havent met a child who doesnt love bubbles.

If he can stand on his own, maybe you could try letting him take a shower with you or dad.

*sigh* it's a phase, my daughter will love the bath one month and hate it the next. Bathe him as fast as possible and ignore the behavior, it will just re-enforce it if you give it attention. It will pass soon.....then come back.....then pass. Lol, the lovely life of a toddler.

something must of happened last time he was in the bath tub before he started not liking it because there must be a reason why he doesnt like it anymore. take a break from it a little while and try a shower if you can maybe even let him crawl around and let the water spray him then try doing a bath, maybe a break from it will help him forget about how he doesnt like it and he'll like it again
