My 1 yr old kitty has swollen lymph glands around his stomach.?

After a week of being sick every time he ate and well into £1000 of inconclusive tests later he went for exploratory surgery to see if he had a stomach blockage.He didn't have any obstructions but the vet did notice he had large looking lymph glands around the stomach.He took a biopsy to be tested (results thurday-ish next week)...I know this can be an indication of cancer, but all his blood test were normal and working in a biomedical lab; i know that something would've shown up in his bloods...Anyone got any answers...I'm a bit worried...It could just be a virus...I mean....No one want to believe it could be worse until the tests are back stating otherwise.

You wont find cancer on blood screens.  The biopsy is the only way to tell.
