I adopted Lotto from a rescue at 4 months, and we were told that she was a domestic short hair, who would be on the small to medium size. Now at 10 months, she looks bigger than most other cats we see like her. Not so much like she is fat, but more that she is longer, and taller than others. Is this normal?

  1. yea it's normal sometimes .My cat is the medium sized one but he's actually looks very long and kinda fat so you don't have to worry about it unless there underweight or overweight....it's very bad for them and try not to panic it happens most of the cats depending on how you took care of them too.

  2. changes the cat   food

  3. I wouldn't worry about it, cats can vary a lot in size. As long as your cat doesn't look overweight or underweight, size really does not matter.

  4. Yeah, it's normal.  The vet kept saying my brother's kitten would be small and she's grown into a fairly large cat.  I don't think they really know.  Since she's not fat there's nothing to worry about.  I have an 8 pound adult and a 14 pound adult.  Neither is overweight or underweight, they just vary.
