I can't neuter him he is too young and I don't know what to do , what options are there ? ( and I know he is marking because it started when he looked out the window and saw another dog . Then peed on the wall instead of the floor.)

  1. Check with your vet but you can consider an early age neuter..

  2. I agree with OhIDoDoI, too young to be marking, and probably peed out of excitement. The solution....CRATE-TRAIN CRATE-TRAIN CRATE-TRAIN!! I cannot stress this enough!!!

  3. Every time he does it in the house firmly say (Not a yell, that's bad) "No" or "Bad" Then put them outside and say "Outside" Then leave them out there for a while (Half an hour is good unless you live in a hot country then 10-20 minutes) Make sure you do this EVERY time he marks or he won't get it.

  4. 10 weeks is really young to be starting territorial marking i think... how is his housebreaking going?  Does he ever have accidents in the house nowadays?

I'm thinking it was just a lapse in housebreaking ettiquitte, perhaps caused by the excitement of seeing another dog outside.

You should still be able to be on your original schedule to get him fixed when you'd planned.

As for what options you have, I'd treat the incident just like any other housebreaking incident.  A quick "NO" if you catch him in the act, pick him up that second in mid pee, and outside he goes!  Praise for peeing outside.

  5. its normal just make sure he understands that doing that in the house is not allowed
