My 10 year old airedale is very lethargic, gets up and paces in circles, eats well though.Any ideas?

No diabetes, thyroid, infection so far. Hips may be going. No fever.

This could be anything.  He could have any of the things you just listed (unless the vet said otherwise).  If you have not taken him to the Vet already, I would strongly recommend doing so.  The Vet can do blood work and stuff.

Sounds like you've been to a vet. Go back to them - if they haven't yet diagnosed it yet, no way we're going to have a clue!!
