  5. She's 10, tell her that you like to do that and that there are somethings in your home you don't tell other people and that this is one of those things. It seems norm to you but explain to her that people have things that are private and that is one of those privacy things. Sorry that people showed you there ignorance thing. They have something that they do that is just like your thing. Hope I helped :)
