  1. Was the doctor concerned about her weight?  If not then she's fine.  There is no "normal" weight or height for kids, they grow and develop individually.  My 10 year old (will be 11 next month) is already 5'6" and weighs 97 pounds.  Which one of our kids is "normal"?

  2. No. My daughter is 10 and I took her to the doc and she said she is 97 lbs. and at a very healthy weight. I think your daughter might b anorexic. I'd sit down and talk with her. =I

  3. That seems thin, but have you seen a lot of the girls this day. They are literally rails.

I don't know how they do it.

  4. thats kinda thin. put her in gymnastics or cheerleading to gain muscle weight and let her eat whenever she wants to. she probably has a really fast metabolism and doesnt eat alot at once so cant keep up with her metabolism rate

    HOPE I HELPED!

dont worry i know a now 11 yr old who only weigh 80 punds but when she was 8 weighed 55 or 45.

  5. yeah as long as she's eating you should have nothing to worry about. she's only ten so she has time to fill out. probably when she hits her teenage years, but i don't know. im naturally thin myself and have been that way since i was younger. im 18 now and i never picked up weight. bottom line, every person is different!

  6. Yes it's fine

My daughter is 4'5" and weights 58 pounds and she is seven

She is tall for her age, most people thinks she is 9 or 10

    Does that help

  7. yah make sure she eats healthy and gets proper amount of exercise and she'll be fine. If it's all just junk then it'll catch up to her...

  8. She's a little thin, but still in the normal range. Don't worry to much about this, make sure she has vitamains on a daily basis as well as plenty of protein. Once she hits puberty she will put on a good 20-30 pounds before shooting up to 5'3'-5'4. Don't worry everything seems fine with your little girl. Good luck

  9. When I was ten i weighed about 65 pounds. Now I am 13 and weigh only 97 pounds.

  10. Excuse the doctor? 4.6 is a SHRIMP. I'm sorry, lol. 10 yr olds av. is 4.8 - 5.3! 66 lbs is nothing! I wouldn't be concerned about the eating thing becuase she's just active and needs fuel.

  11. As long as she is eating a good healthy diet I would not be too concerned.  If you really are worried then seek the advice of a nutritionist along with her physician.

  12. Don't worry about your daughter. I am 13 years old, in 8th grade, and am 5ft 1in tall and 78 lbs. She probably just has a fast metabolism. Personally, I wouldn't think anything of it. As long as she isn't skinny and short for the wrong reasons (eating disorders: anorexia, bulemia, etc.) then she is most likely fine. If still concerned, talk to her pediatrition. Good luck!

  13. What did the doctor say?  He would be more of an authority than we would be.  Call and tell him your concerns.

  14. it is normal at that age but don't let her be obesse.

  15. My daughter is about exactly that, she's eleven years old...she isn't unhealthy and she has good color to her skin, she's happy. All of those things are better ways to judge how healthy your kids are- not necessarily measurements.

  16. People grow at their own rate.

  17. Some people are naturally thin by their genetics!  As long as she is eating then there is no porblem... go here and type in her height and weight. it tells you all the percentiles

  18. as long as she eats well stop worrying. She will grow at her own pace.

  19. hey my daughter lauren is only 12 year old and weighs 3 stone thats not normal

  20. You daughter's BMI is roughly 15.9, placing her at the 29th percentile for her age.  Anywhere from 5-85% is "normal" and "healthy."

As long as she is healthy in other aspects, she should be fine.  If you start noticing weakness, trouble sleeping, trouble eating, etc, talk to a doctor.
