My 10 year old daughter wants to Draw an anime do you think she will be able

Question

She is very good with words and is an excellent drawer but I don't want her to go over her limits by drawing an anime. What should I do she is like really serious about it

can't you just let her try it out?

i don't see a problem with it.

if she's bad at it, then she just needs to practice.

by her an anime-drawing book.

plus i really don't think she would care if it isn't perfect.

Whats wrong with her drawing anime?

I drew anime when I was ten, and not to blow my own whistle but I'm pretty good now. It doesnt matter what her skills are now, shes 10 for gods sakes! Let her draw what she wants, she will only grow and get better if she keeps practising.

Why do you want to hold her back?

You're her mother.

Animation is very different from simple drawing (and fairly tedious and time-consuming if you're doing it on your own).  However, there's no reason she shouldn't be able to draw comics (manga) or storyboards.  And doing short flip-book-style animations is great fun for kids, I started doing those when I was about eight.  With a computer and some simple tools she might be able to pull off some stuff that'll really surprise you!

Support her, but remember that's she's only 10 and next month she'll want to be a rock star

All children will have to go through failure in their lifetime eventually.  if she does so happen to be good at anime then great. If not, then it didn't hurt to try and you walk away with a life lesson.
