I dont do athletics that much but recently due to the olympics ive been running , swimming, rowing and biking a lot for the past 6 weeks.

I did a 100m test and got a time of 10.93 s.

Is that a good time?

  1. no. you need to beat 9.63

  2. 9.69secs is the time to beat man!

  3. If you are 16 years old and you can run 100m in 10.93 seconds you are good enough to enter the IAAF World Youth Championships, and you'll probably reach the 100m final. If you've managed to achieve this with only 6 weeks of training, you are probably the most naturally gifted sprinter the world has ever seen.

  4. Thats good and the next games you could try out with a better time than that. I'm in middle school and my time is 13 seconds.

  5. Handtimed? Either way it is a good run. I competed at state level in athletics, not as 100m runner. I was / am good mates with the guy who won the junior state title, second in junior nationals (in Australia) and he ran 10.43 as a 17 yr old. So you are not far off the mark. Of course you tend to peak as a spriner at 28, so improvement will continue - which is what makes Bolt's times even more scarey.

  6. not really. your at almost perfect height. Work on muscle building in your legs. You should be lower. not bad though. keep training member those guys have done it for years and years!
