  1. Your 11 week old will sleep as much as he needs to :o) If you're really concerned, I'd consult his pediatrician.

  2. that sleeping pattern is fine, babies do sleep alot. he might be also going through a growth spurt. my son is 5 months and his sleeping patterns are about the same as your son

  3. All babies are different, and let me tell you how lucky you are that your baby sleeps through the majority of the night.

My twin girls only slept from around 9pm till 11pm, and would wake my partner and I up at least 4 or 5 times after that!

Newborn babies need plenty of sleep, and his sleeping patterns sound normal to me!

  4. My baby started to sleep through from 11pm till 8am since she were around 7 weeks..i panicked the first time but now i thank god she sleeps that much!! She even slept through once in the first few days while i was still in hospital!

    We are lucky moms :)

  5. All babies are different and will sleep and interact differently. Sleeping alot is not usually a problem unless they are not getting enough to eat while they are awake and they are not gaining weight or growing appropriately.  If they aren't gaining weight then you should see your pediatrician immediately.  Other wise just take it in stride/

  6. You are lucky to have a baby that sleeps so well. Count your blessings. Sounds normal.

  7. Nope, he's just tired from all that growing and learning!  Enjoy it while he sleeps, it's the only down time your going to get!
