  1. Let the irritation clear up and then run, don't walk to the nearest health food store and buy some all natural deodorant.  There are several that work very well, I use one called Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal.  It comes in a roll-on, or stick.  They are made with sea salts and other natural ingredients.  Nothing in them should harm her skin or her young lymph nodes.

Please avoid like the plague it is deodorants with aluminum of any kind as it's a known cancer causer.  There is no earthly reason to rub that in so awfully close to lymph nodes.  Also stay away from antiperspirants.  All these things they are now highly suspect in the outburst of breast cancer we've all seen over the last 50 years.

  2. I have found that if you use the  normal bicarbonate of soda that you cook with and just put some of that  under your armpits it dose the trick of reducing the odour keeps the beo   down and  lets your sweat glands get rid of the  toxins its trying to release without the antiperspirants deodorants stopping the job - best of luck with the cure for   deodorant (sorry miss spelt a few words maybe

  3. My husband and daughter have the same problem.  I don't really think you need a 'natural' deodorant.  They experience this when they use the ones that are 'clear'.  You can kind of see through them.  They don't have this problem with the ones that are white.  Does this make sense?  Good luck!

  4. holland and barret do a crystal roll on, im not sure what it is made out of, but its 100% natural, just ask, a lot of people i knw cant use deodrant but can use that, its not an ant perspirant but can keep the smell at bay

    Hope this helps

  5. I used to have the same problem. Try using the brand ALMAY. It is for sensitive skin. Best wishes!

  6. There are many more natural, less irritating deodorants on the market now.

Alamay makes one for sensitive skin and it's a antiperspirant and deodorant, but it's not "natural", so may still contain whatever it was that irritated her skin. It's supposed to be hypoallergenic though.

I use Crystal body deodorant spray. It's fragrance free, non-sticky, non-staining, doesn't leave a residue, and it actually works. They have a roll-on as well, or the actual crystal that you can rub under your arms. It works by forming a barrier , when applied to clean skin, that does not allow bacteria to survive under it. If bacteria can't cling to your skin under your arms, your underarms can't smell bad. It has no perfume, so you don't smell like peaches or wildflowers or musk, but you don't smell like body odor either. This is not an antiperspirant, but not sweating under your arms at all isn't natural or healthy anyway.

Tom's of Maine makes several different scented stick deodorants as well, which DO have a scent, but are also not antiperspirants. There is apricot scent and others, all made from natural, hypoallergenic ingredients.

Burt's Bees makes an aerosol deodorant that is all natural but I've read mixed reviews about it.
