  1. light colored eyeshadow and lip glosses.

    ohhh and nail polish too.

  2. okay best make up to get is colorful and kinda cheap. You can get those at Walgreen's or at Jewel Osco.

  3. I think that the best thing for a 12 yr old would probably be some eyeshadow, mascara, and lipgloss. She doesn't really need eyeliner or foundation or blush or anything like that, maybe as she gets older, when she's 13 or going into middle school, maybe get her some eyeliner or some more stuff then.

Don't get her the cheap $1 c**p at the store. Covergirl makeup would be good, maybe some pink eyeshadow and some brown mascara.

    Hope this helps!

  4. LIPSMACKERS!!! They make that lip gloss that smells and taste like the flavor. Only thing a twelve year old needs on her face is LOTION and lip gloss! I guess she is old enough for SCENTED LOTION.  Ppl please keep you little girls LITTLE

  5. Natural colored eye shadow, mascara and lip gloss. No need for that dark make up at that age!

    Good luck :)

  6. you should probably take her to the makeuop store and let her choose what she wants and you could check all the things she got and put the things back that you don't think are good for a 11 year old. I really reccemond mascara lipgloss and eyeyshadow

  7. I'm 14 and started wearing makeup when I was 13.

Here is what I wore and still wear now:

-Black eyeliner (more intense) or Brown (more natural) - I use Sephora Slim Eyeliner. These only cost $4 at Sephora stores. Revlon's Colorstay eyeliner is really good too and can be found at drugstores. I only wear on the top lid. Bottom lid is too much for me.

-Black Mascara - If she has naturally curly lashes then I suggest Neutrogena Weightless Volume Mascara. It never clumps and only puts a very light coat of mascara on. You could put like 50 coats and it still wouldn't clump! I also suggest Covergirl Lash Blast.

    -No foundation or bronzer

-Blush - I don't wear blush because I have bad acne... but from what my friends say...I suggest N.Y.C blush. They are around $2-3 I think and have decent quality. You can try out many different shades without wasting too much money if you buy a shade that doesn't work for her.

-Eyeshadow - Every girls dream =) Sally's Beauty Supply has really PIGMENTED eyeshadows for only $1 each. They are called Sally Girl eyeshadows. They are singles but they interlock with each other so you can customize your own pallet. A white eyeshadow is always a must. Champagne is a good white color. Then you must must must have neutral colors for a 12 year old. Find all the neutral colors and buy them! My personal favorite is Cinnamon.

-Lip Gloss - drugstore lip gloss isn't that great. Go to Bath and Body Works and get her some of those. Victoria Secret also has good ones.

-Concealer - Only if she has blemishes

-Brushes - You need brushes!!! Go to Walgreens or CVS and pick up some eyeshadow brushes, powder brush, blush brush, and whatever else you need.

  8. well I think you should either stay away from mascara or buy something clear or fun playfull and bright colours no darks i wouldnt say eye liner if so something white or really light and close to skin tone like baby pink opal colors

lips lots of diff shades of lip gloss and shimmers

dont buy her powder eye shadow buy the creams kid versions as well as cheaper under 3 versions have less pigment in them hence less make up she is wearing

maybe a spot conceler stick the wand like cover up in the same kind of tube as a lip gloss cover girl makes one its blue looks like lipstick and it has acne fighting stuff in it as well good luck have fun

  9. That's when I started wearing makeup =) I'm 13 now.

Anyway what she needs Powder. No need to fool with foundation, might be too much. I recommend Estee Lauder powder.

Also you should get her lost of fun eyeshadow colors! Try Cover Girl. They have lots of colors such as pink, orange, yellow, brown, blues etc!

Mascara...you might not wanna go too dramatic, so I suggest Maybelline Great Lash mascara. It doesnt do that much lol.

Finally some gloss! I suggest again...Cover Girl! They have lots of fun lipglosses such as Fruit Spritzers and Wetslicks Crystals! =)

    Good luck!

  10. well im 11 and i wear eyeliner on both lids then i have mascara then i get white eyeshadow to put on then a light tan color then a little bit of purple eyeshadow and put on then i get the eyeshadow color of my brow and put on my brow then get the light tan color and put it under my brow and i have cover up

  11. Bonnebell stuff. You get it from drugstores like Walgreens Rite Aid and they have fun different flavors and is made for young girls like her. They have light eye shadow, clear gloss etc. I would stick to clear gloss and just different eye shadows. She doesn't need mascara or eyeliner or foundation yet that's a bit much. When she hits high school she can be introduced into eye liner then maybe when she's 16 blush and such but we're not thinking that far ahead! Since she's young I'd go with the cheap stuff like Bonnebell and Wet and Wild cheap and fun. A side cute idea for her is for you(or maybe go to a dept. store and get a makeup sales person) to give her a makeover and you or the person can find stuff that she likes and you like on her as well. Good luck and LOL at the comment saying she's too young. SMH by the way I was wearing thongs in 6th grade... just a thought!

  12. get maybeline new york. its good.

  13. Start small, and subtle - 12 is a bit young for it, but OK to practice at home!

    1] clear mascara

2] pink, coral, or peach blush - depending on coloring

3] pink, coral or peach lip gloss

    4] concealer

5] skin care lessons - face wash, toner, sunscreen, lotion for her skin type; exfoliate once a week, eating well, no smoking, etc.

Teach her how to use all this, before you let her loose in public!

[ If you don't know how, google it! ]

Make her wait a little longer for shadow, liner, foundation - I make my kids earn privileges.

  14. She's kind of young. But, if you think it's OK, you're the mom. Target and drug stores have tinted lip gloss. There is even clear mascara. Try to discourage foundation and powders. Maybe Maybeline, Cover Girl or Revlon. That way, it's inexpensive so she can try lots of different styles and colors until she finds a look that she likes.
