  1. I don't see that as bad at all.  You could cut down on the liquids just before bed time.  A small drink of water and bed time shouldn't hurt.

It is not heard of that some children wet the bed past 11-12 yrs. old.  That's just the way it is.  There's nothing physically wrong and it's just the way their body's operate.

I don't want to tell you to take your son to the doctor for a physical, because I don't think the physical is going to be anything pleasant.  However, you are his father and you do what you think is best for your son.

Some kids simply havn't developed at the same rate as other kids.

Instead of a full cup, give 1/2 cup.  If you do the same, he won't think he's missing out on anything.  Like I said, you're the adult and you know best what your son may or may not need.

  2. I would limit the liquids before bed....And get some padding or towel and put it under his sheets so it won't go through to the mattress I have 8 kids.....2 of them used to do that too I did what I said.

  3. I don't know if it is chocolate so much as just giving him fluids so close to bedtime.  Make sure he goes to the bathroom every night before he goes to bed.

  4. It has nothing to do with hot chocolate. If your son is 11 and wets the bed...you need to find out if he has a physical problem, or if something emotionally traumatic is happening that's causing it. Seriously...I'm SURE he can't help it, but there's something preventing him from helping it, and you need to find out what that is.

  5. Naw.

I do that all the time.

  6. my sister has the same problem.

but I don't think if you give it to hime 3 hours before that it would be a problem. just make sure he uses the bathroom before he goes to bed.

  7. Wow already 11 years old... hes not a little kid anymore

  8. It might, why don't you try that and see?

  9. Hold off on the liquids before bed.

  10. I didn't stop wetting the bed until I was 13, due to a need of reconstruction of the urinary tubes connected to my bladder when I was 4. You don't really need to worry about any physical problems with his urinary system, unless he has constant bladder infections. This could possibly lead to kidney stones, or other infections due to un-treated bladder infections. Drinking any liquids close to bed time will trigger wetting, even a small amount. You shouldn't let him just drink whatever he wants, you are his parent, you need to watch what he drinks and eats.

  11. eh.. yeah.. stay away from chocolate before bed time and liquids if he still wets the bed.

  12. ahhahaha he is the 11 yr old asking pretending to be a mom!! omg what a douche bag f*g!! lol!

  13. he might have wet dreams, carissa and i are 11 and we dont wet the bed! ask the doct. cause he might have a bladder condition. well, NOT ALL 11 yr. olds wet the freeking bed, gosh!

  14. You'll go if you go to bed before draining your bladder, my suggestion is that you measure the time it takes for hot chocolate to pass.

  15. If it is true, like other ppl say that you are11 asking bout your own bedwetting problem that is ok. I am 13 and still wet the bed. I wear my goodnites underwear at night and mom mom put a plastic sheet on my bed. Maybe you should talk to your mum about this. I know ppl think goodnites are diapers but they arn't they are underwear and they keep me dry.

  16. Try google.....bed wetting.

    I'd limit liquids before bedtime.

  17. No, I am 12 =]

11 year olds dont wet the bed

    AND three hours before nope!

Let it go. Let the kid have what she wants!

    =]

  18. i don't think it had anything to do with the hot chocolate. if he is still wetting the bed at 11 i would take him to the doctor. they are finding ways to handle this better than they use to. he may have an issue that needs to be addressed. he will thank you for it later even though he may be a bit embarrassed now.
