My 11 yr old daughter wants to be an actress, but we don't have much money. what can i do?

I am divorced with 2 jobs and i can't pay 4 dance lessons, acting lessons, and singing lessons. 2 top that most of the auditions are in cali but we live in Oregon. I know my daughters very talented. But i don't want 2 tell her 2 give up, what should i do?

  1. If her school has any theater or choir classes as electives, sign her up! That's free lessons right there. Usually you have to choose one or the other, if that's the case choose theater. Check around your local community for free youth groups or productions that she could be in. Each performance will be something to put on a resume and help her to learn. If nothing else, have her study monologues from movies and try to perform them for you just like in the movie. Anything to get her to practice will help.
