  1. take him to a doctor.

  2. Just let him chill only if he got a bad temperture bring em to da doctors

  3. I would just give your baby a warm bath, and use a vaporizer in the room.  If you really feel the need to give him medicine, I would use beneadryl,  That is what my doctor has recommended for my 11 mth old.

  4. You need a vaporizor in his room when he sleeps or naps. Do NOT put anything in the machine except water. If no fever he'll be fine. If fever then baby ibuprofen. If not better in 3 days call the Dr. or if croup type cough call right away.

  5. There's really not much you can do for him - medicines/decongestants are not appropriate for little ones under the age of two, so I wouldn't go there.  A vaporizer is really your best bet.  Vicks has a baby rub that is similar to the adult version, but made specifically for little ones.  Pediacare also has a great plug-in vaporizer that doesn't use water... it is also safe for use with infants.  Other than that, tylenol or ibuprofen for fever would be your best bet.  If you think that it's just a cold, the pediatrician is probably not going to do much either... unless there is something else going on (ear infection, sinus infection, high fever, etc.).

Having a really little one that is sick is so hard because there's so little you can do - I feel for you!  Hang in there - it gets better!

  6. if he doesnt have a fever leave him alone. With a fever only baby advil

  7. I believe in rest, o.j., chicken soup (quality canned or homemade) and vitamins are best.  Remember a cold or flu is the body's way of cleansing itself, therefore, it's best not to view it as bad for the body.  Sometimes it's best to let the illness take its course.  Pay particular attention to his nutrition.  I am sure he will be up and around soon!

  8. If he has a fever consult your doctor.  If he is stuffed up try a little oil of eucalyptus on a washcloth and hang it at the top of his crib while he is sleeping.  This is an old trick that even my grandmother used and I have used for all of my children.

  9. You should consult with your pediatrician and do as advised. It would be folly for us to try to advise you on an infant's medication. If you are trying to bring down a fever, a warm, not hot bath can help because it causes the body to start cooling itself down. Hope baby feels better, soon!

  10. ummm, how about you try cold medicine, especially the kind made for infants.  or, if you want to do it really right, go to the doctor.

  11. If you are using Tylenol for a fever, you could try using Motrin or Advil alternately with the Tylenol to help bring down the fever (what the doctors had me do with my youngest).

But the best thing you can do if Tylenol isn't breaking the fever and if it is over 101, is take him to the doctor.
