we just got her when she was 7 weeks old from a local animal shelter, no problems other than her breath. it smells like her p**p and it is even in her nose, when she breaths you can always smell it. its awful and i don't know what it is but its not acne or teeth problems, ive already check for that. any help? also, brushing her teeth will not help, i tried that too. Thanks!

  1. infection maybe my cat had a infection  and so she had bad breath

  2. Your best bet is to take her to the vet it could be digestive problem it could anything the vet will be able to tell you more.  Good Luck

  3. Cat food. Or maybe she plays in her litter box like tiger did (my cat)

  4. It can very well be the food, if you are feeding your kitty a food that is high in grains it can ferment and make bad breath.  CATS NEED high protein food, that means meat, some cats are allergic to beef and fish isnt a good daily diet for them either do some research CHECK THE labels, make sure there is no grain the first 3 ingredients in your cat food.. best to use can food! GOOD LUCK

  5. She may have an upper respiratory infection. Cats can get that very easily if they have not been vaccinated shortly after birth. Have your vet check it out the next time you take her in.

  6. Um, we ARE trying to help.  It was a little rude of you to say that to people trying to help.  Howdoes he know that it isn't her food?  How do you even know?  Have you tried changing it?  I had an answer for you but then I saw your little nasty rant and decided I'd rather not be attacked if my answer was not to your liking.
