  1. Going to the vet would be more effective and responsible.

He could have a urinary problem. He could have gotten a hold of some onions(very bad for dogs) or a number of things. Its best to take him to the vet, instead of asking people on the internet.

  2. well it could have a track infection but i would really look in to taking it to the vet.

  3. you should take him to the vet ASAP!

  4. That is serious..Take him to the vet.

I suspect a urinary infection, but it could be more serious.

Sometimes blood in their urine could indicate an infection in their kidneys as well.

Don't wait for it to pass as waiting could amplify the situation.

  5. So...go to the vet.

  6. Go to V-E-T today.

  7. take him to the vet its probably a uti.

  8. Well, if you or your child was urinating blood-I'm reasonably sure you would go to the doctor.  You must take your dog to the vet, because it deserves to be humanely treated no matter what age it is.

  9. No one on here can help you.

Vet - asap. It may be serious, it may not, only the vet can tell you

  10. Take him to the vets because they can probably give him medication for it and he'll be better in no time (:

  11. Go to the vet immediately!

  12. go to a pet and fast

  13. It is fruit punch. Take him to the vet.

  14. Ask yourself what you would do if you were peeing blood.

I bet you'd go see your doctor right?

Don't you think perhaps you should take your dog to the vet if it's peeing blood?

  15. If your worried sick.. go to the vet!

  16. I think that dogs can have an enlarged prostrate. Years ago one of my entire Great Danes had this problem and he was peeing blood. It was forty years ago so I am a bit hazy about this. He was castrated and I think that this was to make room for the enlarged prostrate. He was about six years old at the time, it was not cancer and he lived until he was twelve. Surgery and medicines are much more advanced now and Jack Russells live forever.

None of the answers will stop you worrying, that's what loving dogs is all about. You haven't mentioned that the cost of treatment is a problem. If it is and you are in the UK contact the PDSA or Dogs Trust.

Try to get a urine sample and take him to a vet ASAP.

  17. If your jack russell is a ***** then its most probably on her period...

My advise is to go to the veternarian...

  18. Yep! Best thing is to take him to the vet as it could be caused by  a number of things. Blood in the urine can be: cystitis, leptospirosis,

warfarin poisoning, growths or tumours in the urinary tract, stones in the bladder (calculi), anaemia. The most likely cause at his age is an inflamed prostate gland. So you need to visit your vet to get some treatment for him. Good Luck.

  19. Blood in the urine can be serious, please go and see your vet.
