I noticed that she is sleeping with her light on over the last few weeks. She was acting stange and would not talk to me. I finally sat her down to talk and she said. I would never believe her. She has had serval occasions. One in our home and 2 outside of our home. She is not afraid, just scared that no one will believe her and think she is crazy.... I don't want to discard it, I do believe the spirits are there and I had a few experiences myself as a child. I am just now sure if she is really seeing this or her mind is playing tricks on her.

  1. Yes, believe her! Either she is going through a hard time and imagining things, or she may really see them. That is up to you to decide if you agree with.

But still she is having issues with something, you need to figure out first if you believe her or not, personally I do believe she may see 'things' or 'people' out there..

I suggest maybe seeing a pastor or someone from a church, to find out what they think.

  2. from experience i would say believe her. there is nothing worse than seeing ghosts and having your parents not believe you. i've had many experiences myself, some absolutely terrifying. in the case that something bad happens, she'll need you there for her. cause i can tell you right now there aren't only good ghosts out there.

  3. Call Ghost Hunters/TAPS.

    1. If she made it up she will most likely fess up.

    2.  If it's real, they can help figure out what's going on.

  4. If your husband told you he saw a ghost, would you believe him? Her age doesn't matter, you have to believe her!!

  5. Why not believe her? She is probably scared. Get her the book Young Ghosts. She can read and find out more about what she is experiencing. I believe it is by Daniel Cohen.

  6. i would believe it if it were my daughter.

maybe you should like take her to a priest or something?

  7. i would believe her. I have the same problem. I was freaked out the first time it happened. I was at my friends house. I have a friend with the same thing. I was at her house the first time I saw a ghost. I couldn't sleep for a few days. I would believe her.   I didnt beliee what was happening to me until i asked her and she said that there was a little girl in that died in a fire near her house.

Tell her that there are a lot of people who can see ghosts. They won't hurt her.

  8. one time i was with my baby cousin in her room and she was just staring into the ceiling. i got creeped out. lol that whole children seing ghost thing is what a lot of ppl believe. especially in other countries. she's a twin. both of them sometimes always just stare into space and then start crying or laughing. spooky. i just hope this never happens to me. lol i cant deal with that. God Bless.

  9. please believe her i mean if its realy then your daughter has a awsome gift^^i mean im 15 and i see ghosts/spirits/oras ^^ i love it and if you need to talk about this more you could e-mail me ^_^

  10. Littler kids can see spirits better then adults. I would believe her. If you experienced it when you were little too then it either runs in the family or you both lived in very haunted places. Believe her!

  11. I think you should do what you feel.  If you believe in them and had a few experiences like that as a child, maybe you should believe her.  I do believe her, and I don't even know her.  In my past experiences I believe I have seen ghosts, but I'm not sure if what I saw was real or my mind playing tricks on me, though for the most part I think it was real.  Younger kids are more open minded, so I do think it is easier for us to see them than adults.

Handle this in the most calm way you can, and try to understand her more about this and her thoughts and feelings.  That's my advice for you.  I hope you'll take it.

  12. i think you should believe her...i mean she's 12 so i think she's a bit too old to be kidding about something like this...and i mean if shes scared that other people won't believe her, then you know she's probably not kidding/

hope this helped. and good luck!

  13. I'm sure a 12 year old knows the difference between a real person and a ghost... unlike a small child, who might just be making it up.

If you've had experiences as a child (I have as well), I feel like you have all the more reason to believe her because it's happened to you.

Talk to her about what she's seen. I told my parents about the experiences I've had and they've been really supportive. Maybe she needs someone to talk to about it. Maybe she's afraid everyone will think she's crazy as well.

  14. I believe in ghosts. Some people actually have jobs to study this, and I've seen them on TV. If you have an older home, or if someone that once lived in it died in or around it, or if someone died during construction, it is possible there may be a ghost. If it's a new house - not as likely.

  15. I have had a few experiences. I haven't seen any since I was a toddler, but I have had my house torn up and stuff. It is possible that she just watched a movie that freaked her out or something like that or it could be a ghost. Either way try to figure out ways that help her cope with it. Let her leave her light on. Look into the history of the house and see what's up.

  16. I would believe her... A good friend is from Japan I always notice her son waving at nothing.. She says in their culture they believe that children can see spirits. I thought about it and it makes sense, children are as open minded as they come.

  17. I say go with your gut. I know if it were my child I would believe her bc I too believe in angels. Help her not to be scared and tell her to tell them to go away! That works for some people I know who have seen ghosts! Good Luck and God bless!!
