  1. At 14 months is pretty much as tall as he will get but he will contiune to put on weight as he gains muscle mass until he is 2-2.5yrs old.      He will probably be close to 41 kilos (90lbs)  give or take when fully grown.

Yes if you want to stud him you need to show him as well as have all breed relavent health testing done and research is pedigree.

He needs to be shown so he can be evaluated for his confirmation to the breed standard.

Breed relevent health tests includes CERF for eyes(yearly) , OFA hips and elbows (once after 2yrs of age) , thyroid panel(yearly), holter moniter for signs of cardio (yearly), skin punch (for seboria), and VonWillebrands (bleeding disorder, only needed once)

You need to research his pedigree for a history in the line of things there is no genetic test for that show up later in life such as cardio, cancer and wobblers.

I would also recommend finding a mentor in the breed that can help you choose the right b*thches to accept.  Many people who have unsutable females or even females with major faults will come to you for stud service.  You need a mentor to help you weed out the poor quality b*tches or b*tches that are just not a good match for your dog.  Allowing your dog to breed to those b*tches would reflect badly on you as an owner and badly on your dogs ability to produce.

  2. Some Dobermans are still maturing and can grow up until 2 years old. My Dobe completely filled out, deepening of his chest as well as height at 3 years old. So I would say you have a pretty good idea of his height but as far as weight, that my fluctuate another 10-15 lbs depending on diet, exercise and bone structure.

  3. I found this infrmation on appearance of doberman : The Doberman Pinscher is a dog of medium size. Although the breed standards vary among kennel and breed clubs, the shoulder height of a Doberman Pinscher ***** is typically somewhere between 24 to 27 inches (61 to 68 cm), and the male typically stands between 26 to 28 inches (66 to 72 cm).[1] The male generally weighs between 75 and 90 pounds and the ***** between 55 and 70 pounds. There is often a slight difference in type between b*****s and dogs, with males being decidedly masculine (but not coarse) and females being noticeable feminine (but not spindly).[2]

Doberman Pinschers typically have a deep, broad chest, and a powerful, compact, and square muscular body of medium size. However, in recent years some breeders have primarily bred, shown, and sold a slimmer or more sleek-looking Doberman Pinscher. This has become a popular body type among many owners, especially those who show their Doberman Pinschers competitively. The traditional body type is still more desirable to many casual owners and to those who want the dog for protection. Furthermore, despite the "ideal" standards, it is impossible to have complete control over the size and weight of dogs. Generally speaking, show animals must fall within the ideal range of both size and weight (for that country's breed standard), but it is not unusual to find male Dobes weighing over 100 pounds or females that are also larger than called for by the breed standards. Larger sizes might lead to additional health problems, although those who are looking for a Doberman Pinscher to provide personal protection or for use in police agencies or the military generally seek out the larger examples and some breeders create specific breeding pairs in the hope of getting a litter of larger dogs.

  4. His size is determined by his genetics. He should grow as large as his parents. Now is the time to start teaching bite inhibition. Redirect him to a toy in time to salvage your ear.

  5. His height is pretty much maxed out but he should still gain a little weight.
