My 14 month old is starting to hit. I tell him no, but he doesn't seem to understand that it is wrong.?

my son used to do the same thing. he would hit other kids and adults but didnt understand that he was being mean... he didnt think he was. he out grew it, but sometimes is rude with my dogs ... not on purpose, just give it time.. it should pass

Its just a stage but keep reminding him thats its bad a show or tell him the consiquences. He will get the hang of it.
