  1. i do not have any kids but i have taken care of kids so i will try to help  she is still a baby and they tend to be moody so that could be a reason. try putting in bubble bath and blow them away on her hands or yours. make it play time and than it wont be so bad.

  2. All toddlers go through their stages. Fear of bath time is a pretty common one! The good news is that as quick as it came, it will go.

In the meantime, you can try a few things to make her a little more comfortable. Do you take baths with her or just sit by the side of the tub? Maybe she would like it if you, her father, or an older sibling goes in with her.

Also make it really fun. New bath toys always seem to be a good thing to get them in the tub. You can buy colored soap foams, bubble baths, etc. The one thing my girls really liked (and still do) is those washable crayons to write on the bath tiles. They are non-toxic so you don't need to worry about her getting it in her mouth or what not.

I wish you the best of luck. Don't worry, she'll come around to baths again soon enough!

  3. put her into an empty bathtub then slowly fill it with water, cos suddenly putting her into a tub thats already filled might scare her, it needs to be gradual. also surround her with water toys like rubber duckies to distract her

  4. awwee I have a 14 month old too. Son..Anyway. Try getting in there with her. Fill it up with bubbles, and just play. Also they have alot of fun bath toys at Walmart/ToysRUs, and foam soap. That's really fun.

My son loves it. Try to make her feel like it is a big fun party to take a bath. Put some childrens dance/bath music on, and let the fun begin.

If that doesn't work, maybe she is just going thru something right now, and will work itself out. Good luck.

  5. My daughter has gone through a couple of phases of not liking baths.  We bought a Thomas the Tank Engine plastic thing that fits over the tub spout and you pour bubble stuff in it.  The bubbles come out the top and bottom.  She was fascinated with it and wanted to take baths again.

I think any kind of variation in the bath toys would help, especially if she picks out a toy herself at the store.

  6. Take her in for a shower instead.  Hold her at first so she gets used to it & then let her down to play.

A non-slip mat & a spout safety cover are must haves.

    Good Luck!!
