She knew that mom would kill her, my dad's never been around, and he would kill her anyway, none of the rest of my family would help her, and I love my sister to death, so I'm letting her stay with me. So, here are my questions, and I'd love advice on everything you've got.

1. The guy is 16, he won't be in trouble, right?

2. Is there any chance that the baby will hurt her? She's tiny, 5'5" and 100lbs on a day that she eats a lot.

3. Will I get into any trouble with the law? She ran away from her mom to me.

4. If she wanted to, could she legally marry the guy who go her pregnant?

5. Could she hurt the baby? Would she miss carry it since she's so young?

I think that's it. If you have anymore information, tell me. I'm very worried about my little sister, and she's not giving up the baby.

  1. 1. No he won't.

    2. She's my size and I'm doing fine, her age might be the only reason the baby could hurt her.

    3. Her mom could report her has a runaway and she'd be picked up by the police and brought home.

    4. No she can't legally marry him at 14, I don't think she could even with your moms approval.

    5. I don't think she'll miscarry cause of her age, I'm not sure though. She just needs to get to a doctor and soon.

  2. He will not be in trouble they are both under age

If she eats right and gains the right amount of weight she will be fine. there are people who are tinier and shorter having kids.

You should not get in trouble because you are her brother just make sure you can prove that you have tried to contact your mother several ways

She can only legally marry in some states, you should look into your state laws because in most when you have a child you are legally emancipated.

No she can not hurt the baby if she is eating right, start her on prenatal pills and folic acid. make sure she is making and making it to her prenatal appointments. and for the love of God please make her finish schooling, even if she gets her GED it is something that will make her go further in life.

  3. OK first of all , no he won't get in trouble.  He is a minor and he didn't rape her.

Yes there is a good chance that the baby will hurt her.  She is not ready for a baby and her body is not ready, its still growing.  If you are concerned, take her to a doctor NOW.  He might suggest an abortion for her safety.

yes you can get in trouble , she is a minor.  You need to talk to your mother and decide what is best for her.

If you really care about her, talk to her seriously.,  At 14 she is way too young to make her own decisions on this pregnancy.  You need to get her to a doctor now.  IF you don't , you are endagering her life.

  4. I don't think the guy can get into trouble. Someone has to try to press charges first and I think the guy has to be something like 3-4 years older before they do something about it.

Pregnancy is no walk in the park she is going to hurt alright. But women all around the world smaller than your sister have baby's everyday. My little sister just had her first she is 5'3 and 100lbs and she did fine but yes she had pain.

you might get into trouble for keeping her you need to get things worked out with her mom.

Age has nothing to do with a miscarriage if her body was not ready for a pregnancy she would not have got pergnant. It is sad to say but there are girls that are younger than your sister that have babys. Pregnancy is a scary thing but it will all work out in the end.

  5. 1. They're both minors. So there's no trouble.

    2. Babies are generally well matched to the body type of their mothers'. So, the baby would most likely be smaller since she is small. Also, the pelvis will dislocate itself so that it is up to 33% larger than it's normal size during child birth. The baby's bones are also fragile and the skull takes on a cone shape and the nose is smashed down when the baby comes out, to fit through the tiny opening it's coming through. It will hurt though...but I've heard that C Sections are worse.

    3. You could get into trouble. You're hoarding a runaway.

    4. She cannot marry the boy without her mother's or guardian's consent.

    5. Girls below 16 and women over 35 have the greatest chances of having a miscarriage. If she takes her vitamins and is active in her prenatal care, she should be fine.
