My 15 month old baby girl is always keeping her right thumb on her mouth. Can anyone give me tips to stop it?

my daughter does the same, and after some research i've figured out that until she's two and still doing it, i'm not gonna stop her. does she do it all day? if she does, then you may want to find ways to keep her busy during the day so she doesn't do it as much. for night time its fine. i read that until age 4 or 5 it won't start to affect the mouth at all. if it really bugs you then get the YUK stuff to get her to stop during the day.

At like CVS they have finger polish called YUK. You brush it on and it tastes bad so she won't suck her thumb anymore.

put Vaseline,or some thing thats not toxic, on her thumbs so that when she puts it in he mouth it will taste nasty and not suck on her thumb, she think that her thumbs taste gorss and will stop
