My 15 year old sister is really bad

Question

she thinks shes older than she is

shes goin out with a 19 year old

she drinks

she has no money so she nicked my mums and stepdads

she steals things from our rooms

she lies

and she is moody all the time

its making my mum ill and we dont know how to deal with it what could we do to make her stop?

TRY and sit down and talk to her,if that doesn't work I would threaten her with the police for stealing

put the things she usually nicks in places like your underwear drawers/cupboards so she wont want to get her hands on them

show her boyfriend embaressing pictures of her

go out all day and pretend you have been shopping and spent all your money or gone to the bank to put all your money in and really just go to a mates house or something so she thinks you have no money

make your room smell bad or lock it or put knickers on the floor and stuff so she wont want to go in your room

My sister started going bad at about 13 and she was exactly the same - including the 19 year old boy-friend.  She stole everything she could put her hands on so mum put everything of value in her own room and put a lock on the door, she also put everything my sister valued in the locked room.  She explained to my sister that she would get her possessions back as she built up trust.  I'll admit it didn't have any effect at first - she acted like she didn't care - but after a while of having no T.V, no stereo, no mobile phone etc.  She started to come around.  Now, at 15, she sticks to her curfew, she does her chores and most importantly she respects my mum.

your sister is just going through the rebellious side of her youth i think...u really need 2 warn her about making your mom ill, thats not acceptable. i was like that at her age..stealing, hurting every1, moody!but that was because i was influenced by others at school..same could be with ur sister. as for the boyfriend, me personally wouldnt say anything bout that cuz end of the day u wudnt listen 2 her if she sed "i dont like ur partner" whether ur older than her or not!!just tel her not 2 do nething silly thats all id say nd if she wants 2 chat bout realationships then im here 4 ya! hope ive made sense lol. gdluck

I KNOW OF MY NIECE WHO WAS LIKE THAT. IN OUR STATE, MY AUNT CALLED THE POLICE AND ASKED THAT SHE GO TO THE JAIL FOR A VISIT. AND IT WORKED. SHE TURNED HER LIFE AROUND REAL QUICK. SHE WENT BACK TO SCHOOL AND GRADUTED AND WENT TO COLLEGE. SHE TOLD HER FRIENDS ABOUT IT AND THEY TOLD HER SO WHAT. SHE DON'T HANG WITH THEM ANYMORE.

She is headed down a bad road. You may be able to seperate her from the 19 year old by threatening him with contributing to the delinquentcy of a minor.

Maybe you can get a police councilor to scare her back into reality.

Or maybe introduce her to some people who are at the end of that road. maybe a homeless shelter, or soup kitchen or something like that.

she needs some real help, take her to a councillor to see if theres any underlying problems other then that theres nothing you can do she will realise the error of her ways one day, my lil sister was like that at 15 shes now 19 and working and in a relationship and shes back to the sweet girl we once knew so hang in there she will change one day
