My 16 mth son has had diarrhea for 3 weeks now doctors say toddler Diarrhea he only weighs 10 kg is this ok ?

i guess its only a problem if your son isnt alert and active. if hes lethargic and weak, wont play etc then take him back to the drs. but if hes smiling, happy, content etc then hes fine.

3 wks is a long time though to have diarrhea. maybe push the dr to do some blood tests on him.

I agree something has to be causing it -- maybe get him allergy tested for foods?  Or maybe he's lactose intolerant.  This just doesn't sound right to me that he would have diarrhea for 3 weeks

10 kg is ok,, mines about the same weight too

something must b causing the diareah,, maybe a food allergy or tummy bug

mines got something at the moment aswell, shes got diareah too, i think its a tummy bug cos shes not very hungry

is yours eating well?,,, good luck
