  1. Hi, so sorry about the kitty, he really needs to gain weight, get some quality kitten canned food from a local pet store, if you have a mom and pop store in your area they not only are cheaper then the big pet stores they will know more to help you.. Hills Science Diet has gotten so aweful, a lot of carbs and grains, just not right!!! Try to feed him some high protein food, its easier to digest, canned food that has no or little corn or grains is best, Fancy Feast at walmart all the Gourment ones, NO GRAVY types will be great too, its low in carbs and high in protein.. Make sure the first 3 ingredients are meats, and any grains at all should be 4th or more down the list... GOOD LUCK!

  2. Have you wormed him?

  3. Didn't the vet have anything else to say about your kitten? Every body's tummy makes gurgling noises, it means it's working. The first thing to try is a different food. Try a premium (not store brand) wet food and introduce it slowly so there aren't stomach upsets. Then add in dry food too. Do it all slowly so his system can get used to it. Good luck.

  4. Worms?  Has he been tested/treated for worms?  If not, it might very well be that he has some form of internal parasite.  Ask your vet about worming medication and if your kitten has had it.
