My 16 y/o daughter's texting signature is INFERNO. Does this have any significance?

Don't worry to much about it if that is the only thing. Unless she is setting fire to things in her bedroom or getting into trouble at school all the time, it probably has no real meaning.

Does she have red hair?  A hot temper?  It could just be a joke with her friends, or she thought it was cool.

Probably not, a lot of teens like to have random signatures, it could be an inside joke with her friends or something.
