My 16-year old refrig makes

My 16-year old refrig makes a single knocking noise when it starts to cool. It sometimes makes that noise if it's just sitting there. Just replaced the fan assembly behind the freezer wall. It wasn't blowing any cold air into the freezer or refrig.
