My 17th Birthday is Saturday?

Question

What can i do to have a good time? I lost my mom on Feb. 5th, 2006. So this will be my 3rd Birthday without her being here. We don't have much money. But i want to do something fun that will get me out of this state of being sad and missing my mom even if it is just for 1 day. What would you do?

Have a small get together at your house. Tell everyone to bring a dish of food instead of a gift. Then play games like taboo or twister talk about good times.

My 15th is on saturday :)

i havnt had a major loss like urs but i lost my dog on 30 Aug 06, he was like family. My mum miscarried in 04 and my brother was stilborn, i still get upset about that, im pregnant now though with a lil boy so its not as hard. I really dont know how to help, im gonna go shoppin for baby stuff then have a 3 course meal. Maybe go on a picnic or do something u enjoy. U obv gonna miss ur mum but im sure she would want u to be happy on ur bday. Im sorry for ur loss.

Do something you've always wanted to do. That would be my suggestion.

Or some suggestions:

Get together with some friends and go clubbing/ to a disco.

Go to a beauty salon and get pampered. Ask for a deal  and tell them its your birthday when you first go in. (hint)

Get some family and/or friends and get a proffesional photo taken

Activities such as paintballing, rock climbing, canoeing, etc.

Do something that your mom liked to.

Wake up early and go to a cheap movie theater.  Enjoy watching R rated movies by yourself for the first time!!!  Watch at least three of them or something like that.  Have a great Birthday!!!

Without much money you unfortunetely can't do much. Get to know a guy who lives outstate perhaps? lol jk, dk what to suggest, got to a movie? Shop at the local Walmart, shop at the local shopping center.
